Flameproof MV Switchgear

Applications:

Dimako manufactures a range of flameproof MV switchgear from 3.3kV to 11kV and 200 to 630Amps. The switchgear extends from simple on load isolators (air and SF6) to SF6 circuit breaker and isolator combinations to vacuum circuit breakers and isolators. The units are designed to be free standing or transformer mounted. In the free standing configuration combinations of switchgear can be concatenated to form a multi outlet distribution centre. All flameproof switchgear is manufactured under the SABS quality system and all carry the SABS Quality Assurance Mark.

Features

Dimako manufactures a comprehensive collection of relays which can be interfaced with the switchgear to provide superior control at an attractive price. Nuissance free sensitive earth fault protection can be provided down to 500mA (ideal for transformer HV end protection). Anoither feature is phase sensitive short circuit protection which is ideal for lowering short circuit tripping levels. RS232 communication can also be provided for real time information as well as historical reasons for trip. Large windows are employed on the enclosures to allow visual confirmation of earthing isolator and circuit breaker status, and for easy viewing of the comprehensive redundant indication provided.
